target audience ideas

The target audience depends on what the sub-genre of thriller is 
our film would generally attract the male audience because it is a action/political/conspiracy thriller
these type of thriller sub-genres usually attract the male audience ;)
the majority of our inspiratory films such as the Bourne trilogy are rated 12a/12 however the rating does not suggest that the target audience is 12 year olds or younger these ratings are just a guideline that needs to be followed and additionally suggest to the audience what type of content is in the film for eg. crime thrillers such as Memento and Se7en  target a more mature audience... and classic thrillers such as  Alfred Hitchcock films  are rated PG, but are intended for adults. 
 from our research we gathered that our target audience would be 15+

For our target audience research we interviewed some people who were our target audience and who were not we asked them questions concerning what sub-genres that they like and why and what were their favourite thriller sub genres

Our target audience

Target audience:

•     Target audience of crime/political and action thrillers targeted at under 25’s(young adults)     and it also appeals to men more than women
•  This is because crime/political and action thriller contains aspects of violence. 
• Our target audience are males between the age of 17-29 who like these sub genres / hybrids

'The bourne Identity' is a thriller and action film which is quite similar to our genre/plot. From these ratings we can see that the film is hugely popular with males, especially ages 18-29 with 45,875 votes compared to females ages 18-29 with 5,660 votes.

All three of us = The directors, producers and are in charge of the test shoots.

Zeshan = The actor, playing the male character in the opening sequence.

Test shoot will take place for an hour on Wednesday morning. Followed by the real shoot in the mid morning.
